Members syrinx
Read first post only- throw it away. There is no need for temptation. It is better to put 100% into one woman once your married. I have been married for 20+ yrs and know that women always want what they can`t get- and that we are easily flattered. The key thing is that no good can come of any other relationship- even if it was a case that you would leave the wife for this chick, because the greener grass on the other side of the fence never works out. I am not going to say that i am without sin, but I have not had to deal with a woman scorned-for a reason. I have enough problems with one to warrant any more than that! Members venturawest
i just can't help but think how you'd react if your wife came home and said "hey honey, i met this guy today, i've seen him around once or twice. he asked for my number, so i gave it to him. he seems cool" it's just inappropriate.doesn't mean you can't have female friends - i have lots and LOTS of female friends, and every single one of them i've known longer than whomever i'm currently dating, or it's someone she knows and has met, so she knows there is no impropriety. but i can't imagine how cool you (or any of us) would be with a wife coming home and telling you she gave some guy her number that she's met twice or thrice. Members BEAD
Update:Last night I told her while she was in a bad mood and... surprise!!! - she continued to be in a bad mood. We talked a little today and she said that while she trusts me to have female friends, she is bothered that this woman would be willing to put a amrried man in such a "socially inappropriate" situation. I ask "but there isn't anything concrete wrong with it besides its social inappropriateness, right?" She agrees. We talk for a moment about how I'm pretty strange and miss social graces a lot. She seems somewhat placated. I'm sure we'll talk more later.
