Streets are full of tears.

Rain come down

To wash away my fear.

It rains like crazy here. Started around midnight and never stopped.

It's good news somehow, even if at this time of the year we're supposed to get bright sun (we did yesterday).

Soil is thirsty, water reserves are very low.

I find rain so much more lively and joyfull than sun. Rain is fun, sun is plain boring.

Any other rain (or other "bad" weather) lover ?

We had 1 1/2" of rain in the whole month of June here, all on the 30th! We had one storm dump an inch in a half hour, and another 8 hours later gave us the rest of it.

We NEEDED it badly! Parts of my lawn (1.5 acres) are lost...

Ac ouple of days before that I was outside watching it rain in all directions but here. I'd look north, south, east or west and see black clouds, but straight above was clear blue sky. It was quite surreal actually.

For the most part I dislike rain, but I was certainly glad to get some Thursday, finally!

Back when I patronized ladies of the night, I loved rainy days because it seemed there were fewer customers out and about, so I had a better selection, and less interference from the cops.

Nowadays I don't like rain so much, especially when I have to load in/load out my bass gear.

Rain/ bad weather makes my job totally suck. I love it when it rains on my day's off though, because then generally it would be nice when I have to work.

Having spent 6 years of my life as an infantryman in the Army and Marine Corps, I kinda don't like rain!!!! Too many memories of too much time spent soaking wet and cold and miserable! Nowadays, I still like throwing on a ruck and hiking the hills or doing some mountaineering, but I tell no lie when I tell others I am a fair weather hiker!!!

I like rain.

Except in November/December. Rain just above freezing temps tends to blow monkeys.

We're starting a drought in these parts, too. After four years of it from 1997-2001. Is there an El Nin~o again?

P.S. As long as my feet are dry and I have the proper gear on, I don't mind hiking in the rain.

Take a photograph,

It'll be the last,

Not a dollar or a crowd could ever keep me here,

I don't have a past

I just have a chance,

Not a family or honest plea remains to say,

Rain rain go away,

Come again another day,

All the world is waiting for the sun.

Is it you I want,

Or just the notion

Of a heart to wrap around so I can find my way around

Safe to say from here,

Your getting closer now,

We are never sad cause we are not allowed to be

Rain rain go away,

Come again another day,

All the world is waiting for the sun.

Rain rain go away,

Come again another day,

All the world is waiting for the sun.

To lie here under you,

Is all that I could ever do,

To lie here under you is all,

To lie here under you is all that i could ever do,

To lie here under you is all,

Rain rain go away,

Come again another day,

All the world is waiting for the sun.

Rain rain go away,

Come again another day,

All the world is waiting for the sun,

All the world is waiting for the sun,

All the world is waiting for the sun.

Right here

I love the rain, and the storms we get here.

I'm not overly fond of the sun, and the absolute worst weather for me is when it's very bright, and very cold...gods is that a horrible set of circumstances.

Hehe.

This is taking an interesting turn.

It rained so hard that several towns have been flooded.

It means business for me. :D

Sometimes I wonder if my job is really moral.

I used to joke that political scientists get all their mileage, enjoyment, and publications out of other countries' misfortunes... ;) Journalists, too.

Western Romania got severely flooded a couple months ago. Turned out that much of the money that should have been spent on better drainage measures, ended up in the pockets of local officials of the previously ruling party. :(

And yet, oddly, rain is the enemy of walkie-talkies.

Heh, i love those kinda days. Not hot, just room-temperature-like. A little breeze can't hurt either.

Love thunderstorms. Hate losing power.

I've been listening to this just this morning - a whole album of original music themed to storms and incliment weather

hw_illust.gif

I HIGHLY recommend it! Esp: "Drink The Drivin' Rain" But also "Thunderstorms & Tyler Roses" and "The Train Wreck At Kiowa Creek"

Seriously, if you like folkish, country with great songs and a record that never needs songs skipped - buy this one.
