Members bassguy Posted July 5, 2005 Members Posted July 5, 2005 ok so im taking international business with a major in international invesment finance and banking, and i have a manditory overseas 3rd year. im thinking ill either go to berlin, england, or paris (dont know the names of the universitys yet). what languages other than french english and german do i need to know? ( i know a bit of quebec french, and im working on learning it fluently, also im struggling learning german, and im looking for a book or something to help me) is france french alot different than quebec french ? (jazz im lookin your way with this one...lol) which would be more enjoyable? moneys not a problem anymore, school is all prepaid for by some lucky investments my parents gave me. im still investigating what my options are (im going to see if i can get a student and a work visa, so that i be an intern overseas) also, how hard is it to bring it a bass overseas?
Members Gaui Posted July 5, 2005 Members Posted July 5, 2005 German grammar is harder then the french, but when it comes to talking the german is a winner. After 5 years of french studying I can berely make myself understandable in french, but I can speak straight out in german. Maybe because its similar to Icelandic and Danish wich I speak.
Members Jazz Ad Posted July 5, 2005 Members Posted July 5, 2005 Quebec french is very similar in spelling. The accent is very different and there are changes in vocabulary too. It's easy to adjust, really.
