For those that do not know, Mexico is THE hotspot for UFO activity.

Recently there have been reports of what appears to by human shaped flying objects.

This is a good article detailing the history of the phenomina with some intriguing pics.

take a look at the mayan's peculiar act of putting boards on their childrens' faces to flatten them. they wanted their people to have flat noses and flat, long forheads. this is strangely similar to the grey aliens that people who claim to have been abducted by aliens describe.

also there is a sculpture on a mayan sacrophogas that looks eeriely like a man riding very fast in some sort of ship pakal01.gif

as well as the nazca lines, which are huge geoglyphs, many ancient cultures have sculptures of beings that do not resemble humans. of course, this may be similar to the fact that many ancient cultures created "venus" statuettes to symbolize the fertility goddess.

although the question remains, why haven't aliens (if they are indeed visiting us) abducted someone important, such as a president or a pope?

What if they already did and you just don't know about it?

national enquirer articles notwithstanding, you're right, thats a possibility.

i think we have been visited, i think its possible that many god-myths came from alien visitors. but i don't think its happened in the past few hundred years.

of course, i also want it to be true, because i refuse to accept the fact that humanity is the only intelligent life in the universe. that would be just kind of sad :(

Yeah, the current "proof" is fun to read but realistically speaking it's really nothing more than science fiction.

Personally, I want to believe, and some of the conspiracy theories wouldn't surprise me if they were true (truth is stranger than fiction after all) but I want hard evidence. When you get into crap like Dulce and the Krlll papers, it's just too much and it discredits the UFO community.

On the other hand, with the mass media of today, marginalization of fringe views -is- the key propaganda weapon used by governments...

Heh, I agree and I get the biggest kick out of this. People see something in the sky they can't identify and so by default it must be extraterrestrial visitors from an advanced civilization who have come to Earth to spy on us. WTF? That's the silliest thing I've ever heard. {censored}, swamp gas is a more believable explaination than that.

I've been listening to a program on AM radio called coast to coast am for probably close to ten years now. If anyone is interested in the strange and bizzare you have to give the show a listen. It's on here at 12 am-5am. The first hour is the last hour of the previous nights show. here is the website http://www.coasttocoastam.com/

Some of the best ones are when people call in and claim to be time travlers. it's amazing how many schizophrenic people are out there.
