Members james on bass Posted July 12, 2005 Members Posted July 12, 2005 Averaging about $0.959 per litre here which works out to about $3.65 a gallon. In U.S funds, that would be about $4.55 a gallon.
Members bassman1956 Posted July 12, 2005 Members Posted July 12, 2005 In Kitty Hawk, NC, last week, was 2.19-2.29-2.39 for the 3 grades, so about 0.20 cheaper than here.
Members Fran da Man Posted July 12, 2005 Members Posted July 12, 2005 2.29-2.35 unleaded reg. yesterday, haven't been out yet today. Unless you go to that BP down the street...add about 17 cents to that. Where the hell does British Petrolium think there at?
CMS Author Craig Vecchione Posted July 12, 2005 CMS Author Posted July 12, 2005 Between $2.30 and 2.49 around here. Hey Fran, the $2.49 price is at a BP station up here. Used to be Amoco. Ever since the buyout they've been consistently the most expensive station.
Members B-Bottom Posted July 12, 2005 Members Posted July 12, 2005 regular unleaded in south central PA is around $2.27 a gallon. That was yesterday so it may be more by now Are the gas prices in Canada going up as well? Just curious
Members SA Rios Posted July 12, 2005 Members Posted July 12, 2005 I don;t know why we bitch about gas prices here. We have the lowest in the world. We are just spoiled from having prices below $2 for so long.

Just curious Yeah, they did the big jump last year when yours started going up. They were averaging about $0.65, then jumped to close to $1.00, then settled at $0.75 for awhile. The last few weeks they've been anywhere from $.92 to $.99. I'm sure the Vancouver area and Quebec and the Maritimes are even higher.

I'm not so good at math, but I think Americans have it easy right now
