My kids beat on 'em and my bands' drummers use 'em when we rehearse here (save 'em from havin' to drag their kits down here). Once I get a new mixer, I'm going to start learning how to record drums with this kit.
Members illidian
Clips! I mean, it can't be any better than your bass playing, right? I can't play drums at all. I want to learn, but I haven't sat behind a set for more than five minutes because I laugh myself off because I am already syncopated without being rhythmic. Exactly why I want to hear it. The almighty Bassius sounding like crap. I'm opening the clip now, but by the name of it sounds like you don't have nearly as good taste with drums either. Originally posted by Bassius I'm embarrased...... You can always go to your bass for consolement, knowing you're better than the rest of us. **Clip starts** I think you hold better time with a bass in your hand, but you can definately hold it better than me with both bass and drums. Oh, and you can play faster than me, too on the drums.

Members MageZ
I think your set needs second bassdrum. Or bassdrum twinpedal. Drumms without frantic doublebass ain't no wanking!
Members 78pbass
Nice. Its so nice to hear someone that doesnt just tune "above the wrinkle". a bop kit with bop drumming tuned bop - very cool. I may comment, your up-tempo swing is a bit too rigid. lean into the last note of the second triplet to make it shuffle a bit more. Its much easier to shuffle when you have a bass to give you a frame of reference. Beyond that, very nice - in fact, you're not only a better bass player than I, but a MUCH better jazz drummer too. Members Tlaloc
Sweet. I always wanted a little 4 piece jazz drumset like that one, but I dont really have the money for such a whim. But as far as that drum wankage goes: it sounds like you need to work on your timing, but one thing is for sure your technique is far greater than mine on drums! I could do some standard rock drum beats, that's about it.
