Members Thunderbroom
I went to see a friend's band play their first gig last night. The two bartenders (yes...both women...and attractive) work for the female lead singer. Before the gig, I was sitting around talking to the band and the singer comes over says that both bartenders wanted to know if I was single. I told her to tell them that I was flattered but was happily married with two kids. I didn't tell my wife. Should I?
Members SA Rios
If you guys trust each other then it shouldn't matter. I tell my wife when I get hit on and she tells me when she does. I don't mind, I like the fact that other men want her, make me feel good that I have her.

Members Thrash Jazz
Originally posted by Thunderbroom I didn't tell my wife. Should I? Not if you want to have sex with her anytime soon... Seriously, I wouldn't recommend it... I think most girlfriends/spouses are already paranoid enough about their guys venturing into groupie-land. The last thing they need is to hear is that part of their worries have come true, even if the rest will never happen.

Members KeroseneTrewthe
You didnt really get hit on parse rather someone shown interest. The person asked a decent question if you were single or not. Thats cool. And you answered the question perfectly. Thats doubley cool. No one should get mad about anything here even if you told your wife and personally nothing happened so why bring it up anyways. Its like sayin, yeah im hot and got hit on tonight what do you think about that? I wouldnt tell your wife unless the chick grabbed you or came up and said "I dont care if youre single, married, will you have my children all the while grabbing you?" Members Thunderbroom
I told her. Her response: "So." I just smiled. She knows me well and knows that I would never do anything to jeopardize our marriage. It's one of the many reasons why I love her.

Members Perfessor
This happened to me at our favorite jazz hangout while my wife was there with me! My wife said, "maybe you can be like that guy on TV from Utah and have more than one wife".

Members Rachel Sampson
My husband always tells me when somebody hits on him (and vice versa). It shouldn't make your wife insecure to know that you politely turned them down and told them you were happily married.

Members neilster
Initially I would say nothing, but after thinking about it a little I would tell her. That way she knows you are still an attractive guy and she shouldn't take you for granted!!

I did a bike ride back in May that started in Dallas and headed North into Oklahoma. The whole time we rode into this incessant headwind and I kept thinking "where is all of this air going?" Then it hit me: Houston!

OMG! Geez! I only thought about getting uncompressed suck vs. compressed suck. I never thought of what would happen once you throw a few hundred watts behind it!!! Would a black hole come billowing forth from his cab? How far away would you have to be not to be sucked past the event horizon? How long could Houston take the strain? Now I finally understand why Houston has it in their city charter the ability to expand their borders on a yearly basis. They are working both with and against the power of suck! They work with it in order to suck in more unsuspecting people and land and against it cuz they have to continually expand or cease to exist when what is currently Houston gets sucked into the black hole!
