Members stiman
Its kool, if it was mine, I would put a white pearl pickguard on it though... too much black... but other than that, its sweet! Fred

Members illidian
I like the pearl blocks on the rosewood, but the no pickguard-with-'51P control plate doesn't look right to me. And it looks so out of place since it's one of the few chrome parts on the bass. MM-style pickup with Alder/Rosewood, sounds good in theory but I'm sure Fender will mess it up. Members james on bass
Not a bad bass. I saw it the other day when I posted about the new 24 fret jazz. I agree that the tele-style chrome control plate looks out of place, but I bet that pickup sounds good. Too bad I 've never been a Fender or 4 string fan. Of course for that price, there are many other basses I get first.
Members syciprider
If it had 24 frets I'd wait for it to appear @ GC and bargain them down to like $650 or something. Good looking bass IMO.
Members sunburstbasser
I'll pass on this one. For $750, I'd rather get a Music Man SUB or something.

Members Les_Izzmor
I like it. But. I wasn't too impressed with the MIM Fender I had. And. I got a brand new American made G&L L2000 for $650. So. I think I'd pass on it. You could easily get a much nicer bass for that money.
