Members buford Posted July 27, 2005 Members Posted July 27, 2005 how can you forget Randy Meisner of the Eagles and Poco?
Members Darkstorm Posted July 27, 2005 Members Posted July 27, 2005 For clean voice rather then cookie monsterish would say Lemmy of Moterhead or T Araya of Slayer.
Members Geddy'sFavHeadache Posted July 27, 2005 Author Members Posted July 27, 2005 but i still think Geddy's the best. {censored}... i'm a better singer/bassist than Sting! i wasn't impressed with his live version of Spirits in the Material World. unfortunately i do it better:eek: no need to brag...
Members hoerni Posted July 27, 2005 Members Posted July 27, 2005 Doug Pinnick of King's X. Killer musicians all singing perfect 3 part harmonies while playing. Jeanette Napolitano of Concrete Blonde - nothing too crazy, but it fits the music. I have to agree that the best are Geddy and Les. Playing those bass lines is hard enough, but singing over them? (and playing the keyboard too in Geddy's case).
Members Zamfir Posted July 27, 2005 Members Posted July 27, 2005 Beyond the king, McCartney, and worthy disciples Bruce, Squire, and Geddy... props to Joey Spampinato (NRBQ).
Members zachoff Posted July 27, 2005 Members Posted July 27, 2005 Sixgun took my vote, but Eddie, Mike Watt and Fat Mike make up my top three.
Members anothertxn Posted July 27, 2005 Members Posted July 27, 2005 The Vortex from Dimmu Borgir...he doesn't sing often, but when he does it is freaking amazing.

Members ezstep Posted July 30, 2005 Members Posted July 30, 2005 I can't believe that no one has yet mentioned. . . Peter Cetera (sorry!) Actually, I would add John Cowan to the list.
Members qbass187 Posted July 30, 2005 Members Posted July 30, 2005 Mark Sandman of MORPHINE. I'm more of a metal guy but I always thought he was an original who didn't get the credit he deserved. Just sayin...
