I'm getting an Ipod at the end of the week & I can't decide which one to get. I presently have a Sony hi-md mini-disc player (each disc = 1 gig) & I can fit most of my digital music on 4 discs. so because of that most of you would prob. say to go with the 20 gig, but it seems like a good idea to get something with alot more space than I need so I can keep filling it over the next couple of years. & the 60 gig (here in canada) is only $140 more than the 20 gig (& thats for 40 more gigs!). so what should I do here?

I have an older 20 gig and the newer 60 photo and the 60 gig is way better. You dont realize how fast you fill up the 20 gig. if you are like me then you will like to have all your songs handy "Just in Case" !!!! My iPod got me thru the black out in NYC 2 years ago !!!!

I'm ordering a 20 gig myself, as all of my music totals about 12 gigs and only about 6-8 is going on the iPod.

The current 20 gig is exactly the same as the 60 apart from capacity. They both are iPod Photos, and the 30 gig was discontinued.

Also, if you are a student, make sure to use the Student Discount. Click "Education" on the Apple store site and you can get $30 off an iPod and free shipping.

The 60 gig is now $100 more, standard price, than the 20 gig, US dollars. Which makes it a much more competitive product.

You won't go bad either way. I voted 20 gig because its all I need and I don't know why anyone would need more but thats just snobbery on my part.
