Like 15s much?:D;)

I'm sure it sounds great for rehearsals! I use my crappy Peavey Basic 60 combo for one of my bands, and it looks like I'll be using my Eden head with one of my cabs for my other band when we start rehearsing again (with a new lineup).

yeah 15s seem to sound really cool. From the various amps i have used 15s have always sounded better. I dont like 4x10 cause i have heard they arent that good and when i played a GK it sounded like {censored}

PS: we might be doing some live recording at band practice soon so u will get to hear how i sound :D

A good cab will sound good regardless of speakers. I bet that Peavey/Ashdown combo sounds pretty phat.

That's 700w peak, I think they're rated for about 350-400w continuous. Still, lots of beef there.

The secret about that cabinet is it's not a *compact* 15 like so many companies build. The bigger cabinet is tuned lower, and so you get LOTS of well controlled lows, none of the weird "WOOOMPH" you hear from a cabinet operating below it's tuned range.

A little bulky, but what you trade in portability, is more than made up by the performance.

yeah they guy who runs the practice rooms said it was 450w.

Due to the fact that it stays at the practice room means that portablity isnt a factor :D

i have been looking at ashdown for a bass amp (a 'first' one, currently using a guitar amp) and the MAG series looks awesome

i was playing with the same combo in a shop here and it sounded excellent, so the head version (MAG300H) and a cab sounds like a great way to go
