Who picks, fingers or both?

Slap, tap, strum, pick, finger, thumb, drum stick, beer bottle, fist on horn, and... I think that covers all my styles. :)

Oh one time I slammed my headstock against the wall but it produced the same sound as hitting the horn but with more pontential damage, so I stopped.

I pretty much NEVER play bass with a pick, and almost never play guitar with a pick, though when playing electric guitar there's a lot I CAN do with a pick that I can't do without.

When playing mandolin I use a pick. If there's no pick I'll play it anyway, but it shows in the results, and usually badly!

Playing banjo I should use a whole LOTTA picks, but never got the hang of not being able to feel where the strings are. So, I play with my calloused fingertips a lot quieter than the cats that gots armor on...

I never play violin with a pick...

both, there are some things that sound much better with fingers, and some things i prefer with a pick (or things i cant play properly with my fingers) so i do whatever suits that particular song

i kinda managed to destroy one of my fingers (got a little blister on the end that stopped my playng with my fingers) so i could just stickto a pick for then
