Grahame was the backup behind Khabibulin last year, wasn't he? Or did they trade him? I can't remember now, since last year was two years ago...

Either way, yeah, I don't like the instigator rule or goalie puck-playing restrictions, either. I think they're silly. I like the other rule changes, though.

Remember Osgood in the playoffs and there was like a couple minutes left and the Sharks or Ducks or whoever scored 4 goals and then beat the Wings in overtime.

I actually went to bed early because it was a West Coast game and thought for sure the Wings had the game easily with such little time left.

I heard on the radio the next morning and thought it was a joke.

Nope. Never liked Ozzie since. Actually never like Ozzie period.

oh well.

More news. I heard that the Leafs have their eye on either Zetterberg or Datsyuk. So for the Leafs could offer more money than the Wings could.

This sucks. Good for the Leafs. Not for the Wings. Why give Mathue Schnieder a huge contract? Hes good but not that good.

oh well again.

That would be cool if the Leafs could pull it off, but I don't see it happening. Detroit has a lot more cap room left, I think, and thus more room to match any offers.

Aren't those two RFA's anyway? Do the Leafs actually have any draft picks left to give up if they sign them?

I never got what the big deal with Schneider was either. He is pretty good, but nowhere near being a superstar. That, and I'm bitter because he sucked ass when he was a Leaf.

Leafs signed 3 more Euro's to the team, probably for very little cash. They also re-signed Wade Belak (good) and Aki Berg (bad). At least they're both cheap.

Maybe they're trying to save some room for a Lindros signing. I would much rather see Datsyuk, but the rumour is that Lindros will be a Leaf. I can't stand that big oaf, he's such a bitch.

I think a lot of fans would like to see him on their team. He and Zetterberg both need to stay in Detroit...they're likely to be the entire {censored}ing future. Datsyuk is a hell of a player.

Hopefully they'll realize that Detroit is finished and they come to Toronto :)

I can't wait to see Bertuzzi back on the ice!

Leafs signed Lindros. haha.

I'm actually liking the deals that Toronto has made so far. Roberts and Niewendyk are both 40, both injury prone and definitely near the end of their careers. Together they command a $4.5 million salary. For the same price, the Leafs picked up O'Neil, Lindros and Allison. 3 hometown boys with some good steam left in them.

Roberts is 6'0" 190lbs., Niewendyk is 5'11" 185lbs. Now they've got Lindros who's 6'4" 250lbs, and Allison who's 6'3" 230lbs. If they can stay healthy, I think they'll do well.

Screw Joey Joe Joe, Screw Mr. Twyztyr, Screw Mr .Joshua, Screw all opposing Detroit!!!!

Watch Detroit lose Datsyuk and get Lindros. That would be suckiest move here apart from signing M. Scheider for too much!! And dumping McCarty!!
