Members Joey Joe Joe
I'm excited about the season too! I love all these deals being made. I'd really like to get the NHL cable package so I can watch all the other games in the league. It doesn't look like the Leafs will be having much of a season. I'm quickly losing hope. Back around the '98 Olympics, there was a rumour going around that Eric Lindros got his ass handed to him by figure skater Elvis Stojko. Apparantly they were at a bar in cottage-country in Ontario, and they got into an argument. Lindros took the first swing, and Elvis, a black belt in some martial art, swung back. If you saw Eric during the Olympic press conferences, he was usually wearing sunglasses to cover a black eye. Does anyone know if this is true? Members MrJoshua
That's funny. I know a guy who plays hockey here that used to be a competitive figure skater. At what level I have no idea. But he's one heck of a hockey player. Skates his butt off.

Members Undertoad
I hate Domi. It's not even a pro-rasslin' sort of hate. He's a bad guy period. He clocked Neidermayer unfairly. Here he is squirting water on a Flyers fan. Whatta jagoff.I hate that guy!
Members KeroseneTrewthe
Neidermayer is a good player but he's a pansy. I dont condone what Domi did with that fan but he had it coming to him. You didnt share the whole story. I think the fan was throwing crap on Domi first. Then thought he could go down there and give Domi a whoopin. Yeah right.

The guy was yappin at Domi, leaning over top of the glass swearing at him. When he sat back down, Domi cooled him off with some water. I thought it was pretty funny. Then the fat bastard gets up on the glass again and it breaks loose, sending him into the box with Domi. Domi jersey'd the guy right away and even got in a couple shots too. That fat piece of {censored} got what he deserved if you ask me.

I think that if we weren't so high at the time that I probablywould have gotten my ass kicked. Regardless, the guy was getting in Domi's face and being an ass, so I don't fault Domi at all for that one. In fact, I'm proud of him for not sending the guy to the ER!!! As for the Neidermayer hit, I've seen him make some pretty illegal hits in the past himself, so... Welcome to the sport of hockey. It's rough, it's tough, and it's on ice. These dudes are big and tough, and that's how they play the game. There's no doubt in my mind that Domi didn't want to injure him, I don't think any player has the intent to injure another player. Domi just caught him in the right spot and he went down. It's definitely not a sport for the weak!

The Wings were seriously looking into him. We have to put our stock in Manny it looks like which I like although he's just not proven yet. I still think he's good enough. Wings still have a decent Def. LidstromFischerSchniederChelios - for leadership thats about itKronwell - looked promising last year Im trying to look at the positives...
