Their must have been a problem with the 5 vocal backing tracks that he uses. :rolleyes:

yeah, I heard about some dates where sabbath and ozzy are not playing, but have no idea why they would cancel the entire {censored}ing show:(

That was my first thought as well. But roadies are relatively a drop in the production budget and easily obtained locally. Perhaps the tour's rider provided the band with frequent flights home and back, and the cost and delays associated with private jets being inspected was too prohibitive. Don't know, just a "who knows" possibility......

Yes was never going on tour this summer anyway. Chris Squire with the Syn, Steve How, and Alan White with White were touring together. White includes Geoff Downes on keyboards, of the Yes album Drama, and Steve Nardelli of the Syn was going to sing for the closer, playing songs from Drama. Not the Classic Yes like the 35th anniversary tour.

 

After the London bombings, getting in and out of the UK for everyone got a lot more difficult. Thus, the tour had to be cancelled because they wouldn't be able to get to the venues anyway.
