The new Rickenbacker site is very cool, more interactive, and has an added forum.

It also has a feature that lets yu know what models shipped when and where.

Just thought I'd pass that on to the Rickenbacker enthusiasts here.

The only thing I know is lug used one to make some of his clips.

But that's also the only thing I need to know.

Too pricey?...If your budget does not allow it...yes. But considering the hand made quality of the instruments, made in the USA, any other USA guitar maker would have much higher prices.

The pictures...they might update them, but I know that RIC does not like their copyrighted images copied and duplicated. If you want to see some nice pics of Ricks, go here, where 5 of my Rick basses are in the gallery:

You can see all 6 of my Rick basses on my website.

That's fine, but you can't even get a good idea of what a new instrument would look like in the various colors. They can do it with cars. Why not Rics?

+1

Ric makes the cheapest USA hand-made guitars and basses that live up to the, "Made in USA" name. They are priced the same as a MIA Fender with much more quality control and attention to detail.

Oh, I'd be sure of using Ric parts, purchased off of their new and improved website, but when they came to knock on my door, I would politely tell them to blow it out their asses.
