Members gbassman100 Posted August 15, 2005 Members Share Posted August 15, 2005 Bought my 4 stringer Tribute for about $350 used on ebay, in like new condition. Some of the Tributes have scratchy pots, that is a known issue. I decided to put new pots in mine to get rid of the static when dialing the volume and tone knobs. Now it is perfect, no hum, no noise of any kind, dead silent (except for the sounds it's supposed to be making). IMO it does the Stingray and P bass tones real well, jazz tone is okay. It does everything I need and it's my main squeeze out of 5 basses now. I really like being able to go active or passive with one bass. I recommend it, I don't know of any other bass that covers so many tones unless you want to pay a ton more money. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
