Members 1tallbassguy Posted August 15, 2005 Members Share Posted August 15, 2005 I learned an exercise years ago from a Stu Hamm Hotlicks video. With either hand, stick out your 1st and 3rd fingers. Stretch 'em out as far as you can. Then retract them and stick out your 2nd and 4th. Again stretch them out as far as possible. Now go back and forth between the two hand configurations quickly. Use you index as 1st and pinkie as 4th. This has given me some finger independence. It can be done anywhere, so practice. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
