Bump-ola!

Still feel bad about double-booking my own whereabouts for the evening. :( Stupid! Wish I wasn't going to miss you guys.

Anyways, I had originally offered if people wanted to meet at my place ahead of time, they could. Well, I'll be home until about 7:15 or 7:30, if people want to stop by. But make sure you PM me! Will at least stop in after the show at Chord On Blues is over. Maybe there will be some of you still around packing up.

Not sure how late you're other show goes but I suspect we'll be jamming till at least 1:30.

You're probably near Green Bay by now, so I'll have a beer waiting for you.

And a very special treat for those who come. We wrote a bluegrass tune in honor of the event!

Well it turned out that my other plans fell through so I hooked up with the guitar player in our band and decided on a road trip to Aurora to surprise catphish and T-broom. Got to see bassman again and met sludgebass for the first time. T-alan where where you?!

T-broom, you guys sounded really, really good. I thouroughly enjoyed your set and your lead singer has a great voice. Fun set list and a nice variety; you have a good thing going there and I can't wait to hear you guys again. Really. You guys rocked.

catphish, sorry we had to bail when we did, it was around your 3rd song and I was *NOT* happy about leaving but we were having some...er...drama on the home front  . Anyway, from what I heard you guys sound much tighter than the last time I heard you; not that it needed tightening but it's obvious you guys are progressing along nicely! It was really refreshing to hear both bands. Seems all I hear around here is either metal or cheesy covers, its great to hear new stuff like this. Well new to me anyway...and darn you for your constant walking and groovin' and general arse kickin' on the bass!!! I wish I could pull off half the stuff you play.

Make sure you guys keep us posted on upcoming gigs; are there web sites/mailing lists set up with calenders?

And I won't go into too much detail but I will say that we made a wrong turn leaving this place and ended up going about 50 miles out of the way. Oops.

Vanlatte hit it on the head. A very good show all around. Jeff, you guys sounded pretty tight and had a really good sound....and that lead singer is really easy on the eyes. ;) Dugan, you guys sounded great, your playing is depressing though......cause I can't come close to playing like that.

Cool as hell that Tony (and his guitarist) drove all the way down. Great to meet them and get to talk to them awhile, good to see Karl again and actually get a chance to talk to him. Stayed till the end of the show......man 7 a.m. came quick this morning.....:o

Yeup! Great time! Made it in right after Dugan's band started. Jeeze they're tight! And, as I've said before, I really enjoy the little local HCBF get-togethers! Still can't believe vanlatte (Tony) made it down! Sorry I missed Tb's YFC, maybe next time. Sludge, did you get a gig scheduled?
