Members burdizzos
Why a 7 stringer? You can get a Peavey Cirrus 6 for less than $2000.
Members knuckle_head
Very VERY well made basses - they're comfy and sound amazing. You will not be disappointed in the least for taking the leap.

Members niomosy
Might want to talk to the guys at http://www.exendedrangebassist.com I believe at least one or two there have 7+ string Bee's that can comment. They're probably on Talkbass as well. Oh and Burdizzos: why not a 7? You can get either an extra low string or high string for more fun.

Wish I could have afforded a luxury bass for $3600 when I was 19... On second thought, I wish I could one now at 32!

Fred is a great guy to deal with too.

Ah the memories....2 Fbasses, 2 MM's, a Ken Smith, 2 Warwick Thumb NT's, a Zon, Kubicki, a few Ibbys, a Ric. Ah yes, but now I have a wife, a van, a mortgage, 2 kids, a dog, a job, lots of bills, and 1 real bass.
