G'day i am in the market for a new bass under $1200 au i need some help though,

i play a range of things from metal to rock and some jazz ( in my school band)

Also, dont overlook the second hand market, you can pick up a great bass for half of the new retail price (though it is a bit difficult if you don't know what kind of bass you want)
