Members Thunderbroom
I've been getting this error message now for a while on my computer: How do I get rid of it for good? I don't know what disk the computer is looking for. If I hit "Cancel" or "Continue" enough times it goes away. It's pretty annoying though. Thanks. Members beam
I usually get that when I'm using a program, and the last place it tried to look for a file was on a floppy. Is that the issue with this?
Members Thunderbroom
No. My computer does not have a floppy drive. I do use a USB flash drive and/or a SD/CF card from time to time. I could understand this if it was doing this after the computer was on. This happens when I reboot the machine.
Members mlwarriner
is there a specific "when" that you get it?

It doesn't have to be on a floppy. It can be CD... FlashDrive... network drive... removable hard disk... anything. It could also be a virus looking for something (shrug).
