Any ideas? Thought I might get lucky on the forum here. Bass player quit and we just started gigging so we're ready but need a good dude like him to fill his shoes. We are a 3 piece so you've got some musical space to fill!! I sing and play guitar. You should be located kinda south of I-20 and near Atlanta. The drummer and I live 20 miles south of the airport.

Thanks you guys. The current gig(s) luckily aren't till a a month from now and we are ready to start booking more for right away at all the local dives when I have a bass dude. I got to admit you both are not slackers. Awesome!!!!

While you guys are here, I'm curious, how's the market in your areas for those older songs by Skynyrd, Deep Purple, etc. I plan to upgrade to newer songs as we can to expand our opportunities but the bar and party we played the people really liked our sound. Are these songs too boring for a bass player??

Nice set. I don't really see a song I wouldn't like to hear when I'm out.

My drummer just moved there from Chicago area! He found a new band already and likes the area. He says the gigs down there pay pretty well too.

Anyhow, I'd be your man if I lived there, but I don't. Great set and good luck.

Don't tell me his name is Scott (can't remember his last name) and he's a killer hard hitter and his favorite album is 2112 by Rush???

Oh man, I may have to move up there.

I'm not going to lie. I'm just getting started again after all those years of not playing and I've got to get contacts for clubs and gigs going and stuff as well as getting very good drummer and very good bassist. But you guys made my day that you like our set list. When I get the right bass and drummer I think we will do pretty well.

Being out of music and raising a family for 15 years just made my desire to be good again at rockin way stronger than it was when I was younger. I'm more focused and in better shape than I was years ago believe it or not. But I'm just getting my confidence back again after several gigs so I hope I can maintain. Sorry to be ramblin band bizness in the bass forum but you guys boosted my confidence. Thanks. Time to hit the hay.
