We're going up to Mount Rainier for one night (the baby's staying the night at Grandma's)of luxury at Wellspring Woodland Spa. We have the deluxe cabin for the night! It's beautiful up there! I'm excited! Can you tell!!?!! Then Sunday it's Dylan's first birthday party! Yesterday was my brother-in-law's wedding. What a crazy week!

Members Adrenochrome Posted August 26, 2005 Members Posted August 26, 2005 that's great.I will have been with the missus 5 years this autumn. We have a 2 year old boy who hits his drum hard and sings nicely - I hope he isn't going to be another Phil Collins!
Members bcPeg Posted August 26, 2005 Members Posted August 26, 2005 Congrats!! I've been with my mister for almost 8 years now, a record for me! Congrats on the baby too!
Members chris dax Posted August 27, 2005 Members Posted August 27, 2005 hey way to Rachel....my wife and I just celebrated our 15th a couple of weeks ago....man has the time flown. For our evening, we booked a room in a really old swank downtown hotel, had a 9:30 dinner in a fabulous Italian restaurant, partied like (55 y/o) rock stars Then got up the next day, had a leisurely and romantic brunch (she had margarita sorbet for desert) before heading up the mountains for a gig. Cool thing was I had two guitars in the hotel room and when we had the valet guy bring our luggage down he asked me if I was in a band....I said yes 'we' are so he assumed my wife was in the band.... she got a kick out of being "rock star for a day.." It was maybe the best anniversary for me ever. Not sure what she'd say. My prayer for you is that you grow and grow deeper in love with each passing year. And that you learn early on how to treasure your children and give them the things they really need at the time they need it. Have a great weekend...c-d

Thanks everyone! Had a GREAT time. First time I have totally relaxed in MONTHS. The cabin was beautiful. King size feather bed across from a HUGE stone fireplace, and right next to a nice big jaccuzi tub. It was all we needed
