Serious question: "Where will you be..."

"...in 10,000 years?"

Most of the time, we go through our daily lives thinking about today and maybe tomorrow. Have you ever given any thought to what happens after death? You're going to be dead a lot longer than you'll be alive, so where will you be?

Even if you can joke about it and give us a few laughs, it's still something to think about in all seriousness. If life's too short to take seriously, then death is too long to not take seriously.

My vast army of highly trained clones will have establish Mars as their home. a Russian satalite will catch images of some large building being constructed and they will send a probe to land on the planet where they will witness billions of highly trained men boarding shuttles to destroy earth. The probe then cuts out and the world goes into panic. Three years after the probes images were taken, the ships will have reached the moon where drop ships will plumit to the earth and the troops will be let out in the vast jungles of South America (after they recently were rebuilt by US-backed governments) and they will hide out. The ships in space will then use some sort of electrical bomb that will completly destroy sensors on the ground in America and other countries. The planes, scanners, ships, and other sensors will be completly useless as the clones take out country after country in one swift movement. The people of the world will have surrendered as a new age of darkness is cast upon the earth.

What do you personally plan to be doing in 10,000 years?

Me? Well, when I die the Arch Druid will be sacrificing 2000 slaves in my honour and burying me in my longship, surrounded by my many mistresses and all my riches. I'll take a battle axe with me too. Might need it in Valhalla.

And you sure as hell better be playing a 59' LP named Pearly Gates!

If you ascribe to the theory that matter is purely energy condensed to a vibration, then we could be something entirely different.

If you had asked this question 10,000 years ago, the answer would surely have been: powering some gas guzzling SUV in America.
