Do you think technology will one day destroy the decency, honesty, and all good values of mankind?

It seems to be going that way. As science and technology advance, people in general become less hardworking, and that seems to destroy values. Are people becomming more and more lazy as time goes on? Is it the progression of technology?

discuss.

Of course, you mention the positive face of technology.

Here is its even more positive face:

We are already identical with our technology.

Or, if you prefer,

isn't the goal of technology to be "less hardworking"?

Why have a 40 hour week? If we could all get by on a 5-hour week, that would be astep foreward in evolution.

technology=the discipline dealing with the art or science of applying scientific knowledge to practical problems

you dont have to use it if you dont want to...and it applies to medicine and transport as well.

personal effectiveness transcends technology...its the way you use or make it useful which counts...

there is nothing new under the sun...just a rearrangement of basics:)
