hello. I'm "new" here. :D

I'm thinking of and getting a T-40 (i know you guys are obsessed with them) but I'm kinda worried about how awkward I'll look when I wear it. so I was wondering if you guys can post pictures of you or someone you know playing a T-40, live situation or not. it's kinda too round for my tastes, but hopefully that'll change

thanks

EDIT: how comfortable is it btw?

I don't have pics with me wearing it, but I will say it's about as comfortable as hanging a boat anchor over your shoulder. Mine, a fretless, does sound awesome though.

If you are worrying about how pretty you will look holding a T-40, maybe the T-40 isn't the bass for you. It's like worrying whether your bazooka matches your belt in a combat situation.

I had a pic of myself playing my T40 at home, the pic was kinda wierd because the T40 looks almost as big as me. By the way I'm selling my T40/T45.

I would bet closer to 14 lbs.

Most people think of them as heavy, but I think they are pretty light, compared to my Yamaha that is. Seriously, why judge a bass on how goofy you look with it rather than important things like how it plays or sounds?

it depends on the bass, ive found each one to weigh different. a few friends have em and they all are slightly different. one is heavier than my bb1200, and another is lighter. thats what i know from the ones i have weighed.

....because it's impossible to play it before I buy it on eBay. I only know it plays and sounds good because the bass forum raves about it. haven't seen one in real life

neither had I until I bought mine from basshunter. Sometimes you just have to look for a deal and buy to try.
