Members mikgag Posted September 2, 2005 Members Posted September 2, 2005 I gave mine beer steins with their names engraved on them.
Members burdizzos Posted September 2, 2005 Members Posted September 2, 2005 I bought all four of my groomsmen Kershaw Ken Onion Leek Knives. I got them about a month in advance and then had them all engraved. They were pleased.
Members SA Rios Posted September 2, 2005 Members Posted September 2, 2005 Beer of the month club is my idea for my wedding. I stood up at my cousins wedding and he gave us all pocket watches at the rehersal dinner. It was cool because we all wore then the next day with our tuxes.
Members Ted Striker Posted September 2, 2005 Author Members Posted September 2, 2005 Good ideas. I was leaning towards a knife to begin with. ..That's a classy looking one, Burdizzos.

Members Ender_rpm Posted September 2, 2005 Members Posted September 2, 2005 I mixed and matched. My band mates got a nice Levy's strap, my techy friends got multi tools, and my geek friends got special edition DnD players handbooks (Leather bound, fo course). About $300 for 6 guys. While its easier to get all matching gifts, I think it means more if they are at least a little personalized. YMMV
Members Melville Posted September 2, 2005 Members Posted September 2, 2005 4 words: Swiss Army Knife Pen.
Members wedgeffect Posted September 2, 2005 Members Posted September 2, 2005 I gave my guys nice watches that were similar in style to the one my wife gave to me as a wedding gift.
Members TwYzTyR Posted September 2, 2005 Members Posted September 2, 2005 If I was going to go for a knife, I'd go for a Spyderfly: http://www.888knivesrus.com/product/SCB01SPYDERFLY I know they're not legal everywhere, but god damn that's cool.
Members Monkabutt Posted September 2, 2005 Members Posted September 2, 2005 Pfft, bunch of {censored} gifts! Weak guys, very weak! Can anyone say HOOKERS!
Members zachoff Posted September 2, 2005 Members Posted September 2, 2005 I've gotten a pimp goblet (fake diamond encrusted gold goblet). It's rad & it's my poker cup, and a money clip. I gave engraved Zippos to all of my groomsmen because back then we all smoked. Top hats would be sweet. I've always wanted a real top hat. Canes would be cool too. Oooo, maybe a cane sword to take from Jumpy's sweet idea!
Members Emprov Posted September 2, 2005 Members Posted September 2, 2005 First off, congratulations! Second, I got my guys Mont Blanc pens. Kinda pricey but I was a copier and office supply salesman at the time and I got them at cost.
Members james on bass Posted September 2, 2005 Members Posted September 2, 2005 I've received watches, a very nice leather day-timer, engraved Mag-light etc... I would say something "manly" and something that you can have engraved like a knife, pocket-watch, flashlight, pen set...
Members Nasty Posted September 2, 2005 Members Posted September 2, 2005 i was in a wedding last month and we all got engraved flasks

There's a spring assist in the hinges such that you get the blade started in motion and then the spring does the rest. They are very slim and very utilitarian. I recommend them to anyone who is in the market for a good knife.
Members basshunter Posted September 2, 2005 Members Posted September 2, 2005 Flasks, and a bottle of each groomsman's favorite booze to fill it with. Hands down the best groomsman gift I have ever recieved. Beer stein comes in 2nd.
Members Random Posted September 2, 2005 Members Posted September 2, 2005 I gave out tailored vests to each of my groomsmen. My Mom made them for all the guys (myself and the two Dads, as well), in appropriate wedding colors. They kicked ass. Just got a nice Longacre tire pressure gauge from a friend of mine for standing up with him.
