Members Tlaloc
I'm thinking of trying some new pickups in my spector NS2000, most likely bartolinis. Anyone have any ideas about barts in general, or as a replacement for the stock emgs? what would this do to my sound?
Members HORSE
I have some Bartolinis in my fretless jazz bass. Barts are known for their 'darker' sound and I found this to be true. They sound really warm and round in my jazz. (and these are single coil barts). If you want something bright and punchy, then Barts may not be your ideal choice. But if you want dark and round, you should try them out.
Members beam
EMG's(passive) came in my Schecter...they quickly found their way onto ebay. The Barts are just better sounding, IMO, in every way.
