Members tenyearsgone
I'm thinking of getting one simply because of thier reputation and raw power, but I don't know how they would pair up with my Ampeg PR410HLF.Anyone who owns one, what do you think of yours? Thanks!
Members Sacred Cow
i own one and run it through a ampeg bxt 410. love the sound but not the weight. if you have a passive bass the 400+ will make it sing. i usually avoid the graphic EQ but thats just me. i'm a minimalist when it comes to {censored}ing with a basses tone. if it didn't sound good in the first place i wouldn't have bought it. great natural OD sound when you push the power amp tubes. it can also double as a space heater. I'll be playing through the basses in my sig, mostly the Warwick. How would you compare it to the Ampeg sound? Also, how loud can that thing go? My Ampeg SVT3 PRO just isn't cutting it in the volume dept., and I want to get something that is loud enough to where I don't have to worry about not having the extra power if I need it....... That's just it, I'm not digging it really anymore, I want something more modern sounding, something different.
