Members 1tallbassguy
Well it's been nice staying up late and sleeping in, but that all ends on Thursday morning. I will start a new job with a mechanical maintenance company back at ExxonMobil Baytown Complex. They are installing some new structure and pipe within the complex. I will be a safety supervisor. I'll have to shave my goatee...... But I will get more money than what I was making when I left there a month ago..... and more hours, 72 hours per week. Cha-ching$$$

I love it when this sort of thing happens. Around here, I've seen a scenario similar to this play out. Guys get laid off/fired by the company in an effort to save mone and downsize. Within 6 months, the same guys get hired back as contractors at a wage considerably higher than what they were making when they were let go. Good news!
