Members Brvheart5
What would an all original late 60's Sunn 1200s cabinet with the 2-15 JBL speakers be worth in good condition? Thanks
Members jackcheez
I'm not sure but I'd be interested.

Members bnyswonger
I think $450-$500 would be about right. 2 JBL 15"s = major league pressure wave.

Members Brvheart5
I'll have to remove all of the million screws on the back to find out... It will take me a little time to open it up; I have to charge my drill-I'm not doing it by hand.

Members Brvheart5
Well, I got a surprise when I opened up the cabinet. There is actually 1-15" and a horn. The horn driver is a JBL LE100S. But the 15" JBL was replaced with a Mojo Tone MJ15G. So it appears that the cabinet would be closer to a Sunn 100S enclosure than a 1200S, although the panel on the back does say 100S.

Well, that's pretty much an oversize PA cab, as guitarists hated those, and they don't go deep enough for most bassists (unless you're Jaco). Fair enough, I'll probably price it at $200..
