Members wilki29`
I was looking for an amp that was good for gigging that had enough power to project. Any brand would be fine as long as it is within the 200-300 dollar range. Thanks
Members Mudbass
Pick up a used GK 400RB. That'll do it very nicely.
Members NeonVomit
Ditto. I love my Gallien-Krueger.
Members zachoff
$200-$300? Peavey Nitrobass is probably what I'd get.

It's not a combo... $200-$300 200W+ combo is going to be hard to find. Maybe Yorkville XM200?
Members sunburstbasser
Used 400RBs can sometimes run under $200. Combine it with a used Peavey cab or an Avatar and have a small, cheap, gigging rig.

You may be able to find a cheap used 800RB as well. They've been out for about 20 years and are bullet-proof.

Extra 100 watts, too.
Members thewalkingdead
I just put a 400b on ebay that should go for really cheap.

(Yorkville 400B) It's really loud and sounds pretty good. You'll need nothing more than (maybe) a 2x10 extension cab if you ever want to upgrade. Seriously though... Volume and headroom galore. Members thewalkingdead
it's a really sweet head, it was just time to upgrade... I was gonna hold on to it for nostalgia but now I really want a fulltone bassdriver and need to finance that somehow. sorry to hear about the loss of yours... what a way to go.
