Members L-1329
Caught an Austin City Limits last night with her and the band. She has what to me is the ideal female voice, and is the real deal. Her band though was tight, and the bassist was a monster! He was at home on the fretless as the fretted, and was so solid and perfect for the music. Fun to watch! Wouldn't mind seeing them live sometime... Members Bluesman0511
Boobies or not, the voice is the thing!!! I been listening to her for 15-20 years or more. Ever hear her recording of Randy Newman's song "Guilty"???? Still knocks me out after all these years...
Members jbryant8159
B.R. is awesome. Beautiful voice. Always backed by stellar musicians. She is someone I would love to see live. Another awesome show-woman with tons of talent, energy and the right voice for her genre is Mellissa Etheridge. Saw her a few years back from the 3rd row and WOW!, what a performance. Members timmerz
A LOT of great songs she's done that had really good, fun bass parts to play...anybody remember "Slow Ride", from a couple of albums ago? Great off-beat bass part...

Members vanlatte
I have several of her albums, it's great stuff. I was eating out somewhere, like Fridays or Applebees or something and her song "Cool Water" was playing, I liked it so much I bugged the employess to tell me who it was! She is going to be in Milwaukee in Nov, may have to go.
Members nicebigstrings
Okay fellas, we all love BR for her voice and slide playing. She's a marvel sure enough. BUT have you ever heard Ellen MacIlwaine from NYC? A fantastic voice and the deadliest slide guitarist I've ever seen in a club. Saw her many years ago and she brought the house down.
