Members King Kashue
I'm in Germany learning German (naturalisch Platz, nein?) and I'll be here another week and a half or so...I was in the woods in Michigan fishing and teaching, no para-military training was involved...Though I did get to sail a 34 foot canoe in Lake Huron As for Never Never Land...uh, I mean the Netherlands, I'd love to visit, but I won't be able to this trip...If I was in another of the Goethe Institut's cities in the Northwest I'd be able to, but from Schw
Members nicebigstrings
Are you in a full immersion program? What's your study and class schedule like? Great time of year to be in Europe. Good weather, tourists have thinned out. Hope your having a blast.

Members King Kashue
I'm in class 4 hours in the morning, and there's not a lot of homework from the Institute, but I'm doing my own work in German reading (as well as doing refreshers in my Latin and Old Norse)... And I was in London, but only for a few hours...I flew in on Friday the 2nd and was in Oxford the 2nd, 3rd and 4th visiting friends. I was actually sick from the flight over and spent most of the 2nd and 3rd fevered and in bed...And to top it off, the Kebab vans aren't around during the long vacations (not that I'd eat kebab meat, but I was really jonesing for some chips, cheese, and humus)... Well, I'm not going on this trip, but there's a chance I'll end up doing research on the Abbey of Sankt Gallen, so I might be spending quite a bit of time in the region...
