Members sunburstbasser
I think a couple forumites have the Groove Bass heads/cabs and really like them. These look like really nice amps. Quite a step up from the KBA series, for sure!
Members der oxenrig
People over at talkbass are practically sodomizing each other over how good they are. They're nice if you want a relatively low-fi sound, and lots of power. The power rating is at 5% THD though.
Members Cortfan
Those amps are the latest designs from ex Peavey amp guru Jim Brown. I suspect they will make their mark. Definately worth checking out.
Members kingbrutis
Well I play a Groove bass head 1200 thru an ampeg 610 cab. The amp is very nice and LOUD. Just by feel, I think my Mesa 400+ that was hotrodded was a little louder, but the price difference is about $500. I'm very happy with mine. I'm thinking of getting a Kustom 2- 15 cab so the 5 string can boom just a little more. Later Joe

Kustom=cheap quality, kinda like the SX of amps. I think these stacks are little over $1000 list price, but don't quote me on that.

They aren't incredible by any means, but at least the most recent ones with the black front are very nice for the price actually.
Members PrestiaRules
according to the BP review the 1200 head is $899 list-$600 streetthe 4x10 or 2x15 cabs are $799 list and $550 It does seem that these have had great reviews is a pile of mags...FWIW Is the huge difference in List and Street prices I always see listed on reviews, literature etc. a US thing? I know that in my experiences in Canada if there was a 10% difference the store felt like they were giving you a HUGE deal.... Edit: or am I just a poor negotiater? Members no-logic
In the states it's generally 25% - 30% off of list. But that is not written in stone. I know of places that are very close to list too.

Members sunburstbasser
They have a few tuck n' roll amps out, but I think its mostly for guitar. I think the digital modeling amp is tucked. Kustoms make great backup stools like that!
Members bville
I own the 1200 head; it's one heck of an amp for the price I paid (about $600, new). The head is incredibly warm for a solid state amp and there is more power than I'll ever need - plenty of headroom so the thing won't distort or fart.
