Members Markee
One of my favorite bass players, Kenny Aronson, uses one of those XL's. Some think the aluminum cones sound harsh but he manages to get great tone out of his. Ohmage shouldn't be a problem.
Members james on bass
I've had mine since new in 1989. No problems, no issues. They are heavy, but it's held up very well. Make sure you get the XL series and not one of their cheaper cabinets.

Members sunburstbasser
When an amp is rated at 4 ohms, that means it'll go down to 4 ohms but will probably handle higher ohms as well. Two 8 ohm cabinets hooked to the same amp equal 4 ohms.
