Members beav2k2
Are there any decent compresor pedals new (or easily available) used under $100 out there. Thus far, I've seen the Digitech Bass Squeeze, Tech21 Bass Compactor, and the BBE compressor
Members sunburstbasser
Rocktron Big Crush Compressor. Costs about $80 new and actually sounds REALLY GOOD with bass! I've used a Bass Squeeze, and it was useless. I couldn't figure out how to operate the bastard! Using the Rocktron it took all of 10 seconds to get it working good, and it just sounded better. Members januaryscar
Boss, Line 6, Marshall make good ones. They aren't 'bass exclusive', but do the job nicely.I own the boss one. Its noiseless, and smoothes things out nicely.

Members flatcat
I use an old Trace Elliot dual compressor pedal I got off eBay. Mainly, I use it to tame stray peaks live. I think that pedal sounds great. Chews through 9v batteries, though. If I had it to do over again, I'd get one with the adapter.

Members Adrenochrome
I use the compression on my Zoom multi-effects. In fact, that's it's main use and also the silent tuning which is useful on stage.
Members Deville
I played the digitech bass squeeze in a GC once, and I thought it sounded great. I use an EBS MultiComp, and it's awesome. The Boss CS-3 took away some bottom, and it audibly breathes a lot with active basses. I don't know, maybe I had it set wrong.
