I'm wanting to do this on a custom bass I'm starting but I've never read anything about them besides the tonal dif the angle makes... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Members Johnny BoomBoom Posted September 16, 2005 Members Share Posted September 16, 2005 Well, I would hazard a guess on the pole piece spacing and say that you'd want a bridge pickup to be able to angle it in the neck position......however, what I'm not sure about would be the voicing of the pickup...... You see what I'm not sure about is the tonal output being as a result of the type/winding on the pickups, or whether it's as a result of the placement on the bass.
