in high school my bandmates and i were "endorsed" by a local company called revolution warez. we started off buying a lot of their stuff and wearing it at gigs, they liked our music, we played out a lot so they started letting us buy them at like 60 or 70% off. they eventually called it quits, but it was pretty cool when you're 17 years old.

I was given free cables and strings be D'Addario. I worked at a music store and our local rep was actually the granddaughter, her last name was D'Addario. She gave me this sign that I would set on top of my amp when I played live.

But Eureka is currently trying to put together a package to lure me away. I'll let my business manager work it out.

Still getting those "protection" payments from manufacturers to not use their gear?

I'm sure they would hate for something "unfortunate" to come out of one of their speaker cabs...

Their big fear is the product liability lawsuits. It's like when Cessna gets sued cause somebody crashed. In this country, it doesn't really have to be the manufacturer's fault for him to pay thru the nose. You know the lawyers always go after the deep pockets. I use this to my advantage.

So... you're like the warning on McDonald's coffee cups?

"Manufacturer does not accept responsibility for any sterilization resulting from the playing of lug songs through its equipment."

I have 6 kids. I consider performing a sterilization to be a favor.

I just naturally assumed that you had your cabs pointed away from yourself...

Ferrari makes great cars, BUT......Chevy moves a lot more product and makes a lot more money than Ferrari and can pay a lot more for advertising. Remember that.
