Members Incubitabus Posted September 21, 2005 Author Members Posted September 21, 2005 bump for VW...
Members venturawest Posted September 21, 2005 Members Posted September 21, 2005 there are only two ENT offices in blacksburg and i don't know either of them - where else are you close to (ideally slightly larger cities?)
Members Incubitabus Posted September 30, 2005 Author Members Posted September 30, 2005 we're near Roanoke and Christiansburg, but Charlotte and Richmond arent too far away.
Members venturawest Posted October 3, 2005 Members Posted October 3, 2005 hey dude, went to LA for 10 days and just got back last night, sorry. will get some info for you this week.
Members Incubitabus Posted October 4, 2005 Author Members Posted October 4, 2005 i appreciate it. Me and at least one other guy in my band want to get them sometime this month. how long do they usually take to make?
Members venturawest Posted October 6, 2005 Members Posted October 6, 2005 hey, if you can make it up (down?) to roanoke, try these guys - i'd call first, ask if their audiologists will make custom earplugs before you go all the way out to the appointment. Gregory C Zachmann MD201 Mc Clanahan St SWRoanoke, VA 24014-1709 United StatesP:(540) 982-6800 or go to chen and dichtel. here's their website: http://www.hnms-ent.com/ it should cost you around $100-$150, and it normally takes 1-2 weeks. when you make the appointment, let them know you want an appointment for custom made earplugs with the audiologist, not the doctor's appointment. make sure their audiologists will do the molds for you. it should take about a week to two to get them done. if their audiologists don't do it, ask them for who will. let me know what happens!!!
Members Incubitabus Posted October 7, 2005 Author Members Posted October 7, 2005 awesome. I'll schedule appointments tomorrow (me and my guitarist). Thanks VW!
