audio clips!..finally...lol

ok, so i have some crappy quality basslines that i layed down...someone wana host em for me?

 

they were recorded on my creative muvo txfm 256mb mp3 player, and it distorts like mad.

 

im still working em out, things i made up about 10 mins ago, so im workign them into songs

 

first part is suposed to be slaped, but i suck at slap, and hte second part is in the works

Are you positive?

 

You should still have either a mic or line-in on your laptop somewhere. Thats all you need.

 

If not, you've got a USB port somewhere and you can buy some little devices that have both a mic and line-in and use that. I mean, my instructor has a USB port or something like it on his Apple, I'd figure a non-Apple laptop should have something.

 

You can also host your files at www.soundclick.com but we'll need an account to listen. I've got one.

 

There is also the possibility of a myspace account.

 

In all truth, you can host your file for free easily.:)

The mic in should be pink, correct?

 

Check to see if you have a line-in. Some laptops don't have a line-in. This is what you really want.

 

If you use the mic in, you'll have to play with your volume sliders a bit or you'll get a very distorted sound, BUT you can use any program you want to record with from Audacity to Sonar or Cubase.
