Members 50calexplorer Posted September 24, 2005 Members Posted September 24, 2005 now I just need to decide what to do for a cab. I'm thinking an Ampeg SVT Classic 6x10 or 8x10. Decisions, decisions.....

The NV-610 has the same kind of vibe as the Ampeg 810 (sealed box) but it's a foot shorter, 4" shallower and 70lbs lighter.... Very tight and punchy. Great for rock and roll... I use mine with a '76 SVT.

The NV cabs are very easy to move. Nicely positioned handles, tiltback casters and the dimensions of the boxes all help. I think they're about the same price as an Ampeg 810, but I'm not 100% positive....
Members phunkyhick Posted September 24, 2005 Members Posted September 24, 2005 Good choice. I run mine with an Avatar 210 PRO and a 115PRO. It's nice. I'd like one of those Berg's, but can't afford them. But you won't regret going with the 400+
