Members The Insomniac Posted September 28, 2005 Members Posted September 28, 2005 Not to damn bad 30 years later.
Members Fran da Man Posted September 28, 2005 Members Posted September 28, 2005 Yup, she's held up pretty good. Now Heart on the otherhand...
Members anothertxn Posted September 28, 2005 Members Posted September 28, 2005 You have to think she's had some work done to fix nostrials (I need some spell check on here, obviously) that attempted to snort the entire country of Columbia, but she's held up better than one would expect.
Members Hacker Posted September 28, 2005 Members Posted September 28, 2005 Did they only show her from the neck up?
Members takeout Posted September 28, 2005 Members Posted September 28, 2005 I still can't fugure out how she and Dave Crosby did so much coke, yet got so fat. It's like Bizarro World. Same goes for Bob Mould and all that speed he did in the 80's - how do you have a gut when you're constantly cranked?

Members bonscottvocals Posted September 28, 2005 Members Posted September 28, 2005 Nobody wants to see that in red leather pants!

I watched Heart the other day on PBS, they absolutely brought down the house! Ann(I believe, whoever the guitarist was) blew my mind with utter coolness.
Members bonscottvocals Posted September 28, 2005 Members Posted September 28, 2005 That's ^ Anne. You're thinking of Nancy. Still, when I closed my eyes, I could still feel hear her hit the notes as well as the '70's. Mike Reno too, he can still hit the notes, but he's gotta' be kept out of the leather shops.
Members J. Posted September 28, 2005 Members Posted September 28, 2005 Originally posted by Fran da Man Yup, she's held up pretty good. Now Heart on the otherhand... How true, although I think Stevie Nicks looks kinda rough myself. Debra Harry from Blondie took a bigger fall in the looks category than Stevie though. I love Heart - easily my favorite female fronted band. Ann Wilson could sing circles around Stevie Nicks and she was super hot a few decades ago too.

She was SO freakin' cool!!! She rocked as good as anyone, and SMOOOOTH as hell too!
Members J. Posted September 28, 2005 Members Posted September 28, 2005 I guess Ann Wilson had her stomach banded to lose weight. Here she is a little while after the surgery. She was a bit heavier than this...

Members danthepersonage Posted September 28, 2005 Members Posted September 28, 2005 Cocaine is one hell of a drug.
Members takeout Posted September 28, 2005 Members Posted September 28, 2005 Originally posted by steers b-c Seen him lately? The guy got ripped... Yeah, but he also lost his touch songwriting-wise and started DJing in gay dance clubs. I prefered the fat and high version.

Members readybeans Posted September 29, 2005 Members Posted September 29, 2005 isn't it wonderful how musicians are judged by their looks and especially their weight? warms my heart, yes it does

Members Bag_End Posted September 29, 2005 Members Posted September 29, 2005 I never knew Ann played bass. Looks like a short scale P if I'm not mistaken.
Members bruto Posted September 29, 2005 Members Posted September 29, 2005 Originally posted by readybeans isn't it wonderful how musicians are judged by their looks and especially their weight? warms my heart, yes it does It's a rather sad consequence of pop culture. Image is everything. Ann and Nancy Wilson are both in their 50s. It's either look your age or take chances with repeted cosmetic surgeries, and we all know where that can end up.
