well thank you, i'm kinda trying to learn the recording thing so when my band does the second demo, or album or whatever i won't let the drummer record it cause then you got all the loud cymbols and the drums and the headache....lesson is don't let your drummer do the recording for your band.. let the bass player do it, they probably have the best overall feel for the equality of the music. AT LEAST I THINK SO..:D

For whatever reason, your mp3s won't download for me. Can you host them on another site, or email them to me? I'm a decent slapper and I'd like to hear you, perhaps I can give you a pointer or two?

If you need to email them to me, its just my username at either gmail or hotmail.com, your choice.

Got your mp3s. Not bad stuff. But wheres the groove?:p

Its easy to get into the mindset that slapping is for showing off, but it can really make for some very cool grooves when used properly and without the need for a drummer (since its basically percussion already). Its OK to SLOW DOWN! Take a listen to Flea's line on the demo "What It Is" from RHCP's reissued self-titled album.

I'll post a clip of what I'm trying to explain, too.

And your other two that you posted also won't download! I think its something with saving them as attachments and my computer not recognizing them as mp3s.
