Members talking_goat Posted September 30, 2005 Members Posted September 30, 2005 For direct recording into protools via a digi002 what would be the best choice for a nice thick bass sound.
Members D Aussie Posted September 30, 2005 Members Posted September 30, 2005 a nice thick bass:rolleyes:
Members Retrovertigo Posted September 30, 2005 Members Posted September 30, 2005 are we talking DI's or basses? If you're asking about basses, I think the general feeling here is that a P bass with flats will get you the ultimate recording tone. Very Thick I have now idea about DI's, but we all hear good things about Sansamp Bass Drivers and the Countryman DI

I have a Bass VAMP but I don't like the sounds i get out of it. I should mention I'm not actually a bass player, just a guitarist who pretends to play bass.
