I use an Eden CXM112 with a GK 400 RB driving it and am extremely happy with the rig. I'd take a good look at the new Eden 112XLT which has replaced my cabinet. It will handle the 8 ohm rating of your amp, sound good, be surprisingly loud (its efficient) and not hurt your back.

I've got the new Eden 112 XLT and love it.

It's nice and small and light and sounds terrific . I use it for medium size gigs, rehearsals and even take it to basements for a little quiet "jam night"

That way I use it at any venue and always have "my sound" no matter how big or small the gig is.

I carry the WT 550 amp in a computer carry bag over my shoulder, the speaker in one hand, and bass in a gig bag in the other !

How cool is that....everything in one trip.

kickass, thanks for all ze info.

i already know i like eden and that 112xlt looks really nice, although i haven't played one. i want to try out genz benz and bergantino as well, but their efficiency rating makes me hesitant. to buy, not to try out. :p

also want to check out avatar and bag end.

i know zilch about schroeder, but if they're expensive i don't know if i need to.

I own the Genz Benz LS 112T. It's a nice cab - has a very good low-mid punch that my GK really accentuates. The treble can get a touch shrill if you turn up the tweeter too much, though.

However, from what I've heard of Eden and Bergie cabs, if you've got the money, they would probably be a bit better.
