Members fretless Posted October 2, 2005 Members Posted October 2, 2005 here are 2 of the best sounding digital delay pedals ever ! IMO ofcourse @ the bay 7354269737 & 7354724582
Members vigor&kandor Posted October 2, 2005 Members Posted October 2, 2005 i love ibanez power series pedals. wish i could find more of them for cheap. i have the delay champ from that series and it is a truly great delay.
Members fretless Posted October 2, 2005 Author Members Posted October 2, 2005 keep your eye on that DDL20 those DDL's can go pretty high , I have several and the DDL20 is the easiest to set the time , and sounds amazing .
Members fretless Posted October 2, 2005 Author Members Posted October 2, 2005 I don't need anymore or I would go for it myself , but I have a few and have scored many for friends over the years , I have 3 DDL's only one in this pic though
Members SpaceGhost Posted October 2, 2005 Members Posted October 2, 2005 Hey thanks fretless, I'll keep my eye on them. Fretless: How sturdy do the pedals feel? When I checked out the more recent Ibanez pedals, they felt flimsey and seemed like they were going to break after regular use.

I would go for a clean one like that one DDL20 there
Members SpaceGhost Posted October 2, 2005 Members Posted October 2, 2005 Originally posted by fretless I would go for a clean one like that one DDL20 there I have $80 sittin' infront of me, hopefully they don't go too far over that or will have to use cash out of my own pocket What exactly does the "Modulation delay" do?
Members fretless Posted October 2, 2005 Author Members Posted October 2, 2005 that adds chorus effect to the delay , when tweaked just right it's a kinda old school echoplex type sound , really very cool , but compared to a real tape delay not as organic . But Great pedal .
Members fretless Posted October 2, 2005 Author Members Posted October 2, 2005 I have a ton of pedals and sold my old crappy echoplex , This is my current Delay GAS I need to sell off a few more things to get the big $$$ but it's on the list http://www.fulltone.com/tte.asp

Members zenfascist Posted October 2, 2005 Members Posted October 2, 2005 I like the little Guyatone delays.
Members Texas Noise Factory Posted October 2, 2005 Members Posted October 2, 2005 Originally posted by zenfascist I like the little Guyatone delays. +1... I've got one of the earlier ones. It sounds Analog to me... even feeds back at maximum regen like the old Boss DM-2's... which is pretty weird for a digital pedal... I like those old Ibanez Modulation Delays.... crazy effects they are..
Members bikehorn Posted October 2, 2005 Members Posted October 2, 2005 I use an Ibanez DE7. it's pretty nice and it's built real solidly. the delay is alright, but the echo feature is what's really cool. i have a hard time going back to normal digital delay after getting used to the echo. unless of course, it's a Deluxe Memory Man or something.
