Members PrestiaRules
I sent a couple emails to OLP trying to fnd information for the starter of this thread: Cheap Bass Thread I asked them for a list on the Tony Levin Model: they emailed me that the list in the US is $499 and in Canada it should be around that. I haven't priced a SUB lately....how much more is an active SUB than this bass? Which would you prefer if you were making this choice? (I am not actually looking to buy either just curious)

Members rx jr.
if it's $499 street then it'll probably be $400 at stores......
Members degroove
$400 bucks for any OLP sounds high, even for a new one. I always see them in the $200 to $300 range. If you get that high in price, you are now in MIM Fender range.
Members Ted Striker
you could get a used SUB for that much. Or even better, take that money and get a G&L tribute.

Members syciprider
It's probably better than a MIM Fender because over there they can shoot the lazy worker for not making things correctly.
Members sheepdog
the tony levin model sells online for around $350, I think. I was taking a look at that bass a while back. If a store sells it for $499, they're dreaming
Members Gaui
I think music123 has them for 350$, still a bit high for an olp.
