Members Hacker
I had been playing a MIM P-bass and recently got a SpectorLegend (their Korean offering). I love it!!! It just seems so much easier to play. I think it is the narrow neck and close proximity of the strings (I played guitar before bass). Everyone seems to have a pretty string opinionof their classic design, the NS (Ned Steinberger), includinga lot of people who hate 'em. Thoughts on Spector? Members B-Bottom
I never cared for Spectors. I wouldn't go as far to say I hate them, I just never found them comfortable to play. to each their own
Members james on bass
Never owned one, but have always loved the look and feel of them. Played a Euro model a few years ago, and it was very, very nice. Played one of the cheaper models a few years later, and was less impressed, but still impressed enough that they are definitely a nice bass for the price. Members brake
My Spector is the nicest bass I've ever played aside from Amy's Rick 4003. I dig 'em.
Members basshunter
I recently picked up an NS2000-Q5 and I'm very happy with it. It won't replace my JAFs, but a greaty bass none the less.

Members bassplayer7770
I've played a couple Spectors. One was used, and I think it was a U.S. model. It was strung with flats, but it sounded good and played well (if you don't mind a chunky neck). The Euro 4 I played was very nice also. It looked beautiful and played and sounded great. Again, it had a chunky neck.
Members zachoff
A little of both. I mostly like, but the body shape is uncomfortable for me.
Members L-1329
Originally posted by Subsonicbass Best Bass body shape ever devised. Got to disagree with this one. The upper horn is just too misshaped and unproportionally large for the whole rest of the body, and just looks out of place. And besides, we all know that the best body shape ever devised is the Explorer!

Bleech, I hate it when bass bodies are curved. It's seems like it would only be "contoured" for someone with a big beer belly (not to say that about you or anything )
